Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.

What does a physiotherapist (physio) do?

Physiotherapists help people affected with illness, injury and disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They help patients manage pain and prevent disease, thus maintaining health for people of all ages. The aim is to encourage development, recovery and independence, for as long as possible.

  • Rheumatology – including inflammatory joint conditions eg rheumatoid arthritis (specialist interest in ankylosing spondylitis)
  • Musculoskeletal conditions – range of upper and lower body conditions

Book a Physiotherapy Appointment

Not sure if an initial physio assessment is right for you?

Book an online consultation where you can speak to our physiotherapist. They can discuss your recent injury/new or old pain/immobility issue and give more details on how a face to face physio assessment would assist you. They will also advice of alternate treatment should the face to face not be appropriate.

Any information gathered from the online consultation with be used to build into your face to face (initial) assessment. If you go ahead with an initial assessment we would reduce the cost by the same amount as the online consultation.
