Sox Appeal

This winter we are collecting new socks for the homeless, supporting the charity work of The Gatehouse and Forgotten Feet with the sox appeal.

The homeless clients experience great discomfort from wet and damp shoes/socks. It can leave their feet painful and vulnerable to fungal infections, bacteria infections, trench foot and amputation.

As podiatrists we are very aware of the problems they can suffer and we are keen to offer our help. We provide free podiatry care at The Gatehouse in St Giles Church every 6 weeks. We see around 20 clients who are very appreciate of new socks to pop their new feet into. If you would like to volunteer with us please click here.

Donations can we sent to us by post or dropped to our clinic, and need to be received by Friday 20th December.
